Hello I am Christine Shaw

My name has been in the forefront of Beauty and Complementary Therapy Training for many years now ….initially at 11, Old Bond Street ,London, where I trained students who came to the Academy there from every part of the world. When I came to 20 years ago I was asked to open here and have been running successful training programmes here now since 1987

The evidence of this is all around you !

Many many of my students have opened salons and clinics stretching along the Coast or are gainfully employed in every aspect from spas,beauty salons,hairdressers,nail clinics, to ocean liners.

It has pleased me tremendously too to see how many of them have devoted a part of their skills to helping other through charity work and care for the sick,pàrticularly the terminally ill.

The rewards of out business are not just financial.

If you truly have the spirit to help others to make life around them happier,fulfilling,and rewarding then you truly have the spirit and aptitude for becoming a worthwhile therapist .

From princes to paupers !

Remember my time has been split just like that …from training the manicurist for Buckingham Palace …yes,that was a thrill..and great to hear one of my old students gave Camilla her manicure before the wedding ! …to encouraging care of pensioners feet .

From giving reflexology to a pop star to tending an Aids victim.

Beauty and Complementary Therapy have been my life …and if I had to do it all over again ..well, I would do exactly the same!

And now, here I am on the doorstep of perhaps the most exciting final step forward.

I am just thrilled to be placing the training with SHANTI.-SOM under the direction of KEZIA JACOBSEN .

I have long been an admirer of her work and philosophies where she has so successfully combined Beauty with Complementary Therapies.

Her beautiful villa in Bel Air between San Pedro and Estepona is a haven of peace and tranquillity where are holding the Courses.

We are also offering residential accommodation in a villa nearby for long distance students …and perhaps,most exciting of all ..plans are now being drawn up for a purpose built Spa and Complementary Therapy school to be built on land adjoining .

Additionally…..we are also planning on opening branches back in the and three in the Far East .

Such is our confidence in the growth and expansion of this wonderful business of ours.
